The location was great for birdwatching at the nearby lakes, and the countryside around the hotel was stunning. We enjoyed the fact that the hotel was affordable and the bar and restaurant prices were much cheaper than neighboring establishments. the food was also delicious and authentically French, and we appreciated the warm welcome from the friendly hosts.

the rooms were a bit chilly, but we were provided with plenty of warm bedding and an electric heater to supplement the heating.

We enjoyed the beautiful countryside and open spaces surrounding the hotel. It was peaceful and quiet during our stay. The heated radiator in our room was a plus, and we were provided with plenty of bed covers to keep us warm on cold nights.

The hotel was in dire need of renovations. The rooms were outdated, and the pillows and futon were not comfortable.
